The Art of Loving

I read The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm.

To Love.

To say I am here. To say I care. To say you are not alone.

To hold pain as a prompt to delve into the depth of each.

To not mirror but to be unique. To not abscond but to be steady. To not outgrow but grow.

To not close down but to remain open. To not back out but to stand on ground.

To not be driven by passions but by compassion. To not hold accountable but to understand.

To search for the reason. To explore together. To prepare for yet another.

To not lose and to not be lost. To not be separate and to not separate. To not be exclusive and to not exclude.

To read more on the art of loving, read Thich Nhat Hanh.
